    This award is open to all *retail premises who provide their customers with an exciting innovative and enjoyable retail environment in which to shop. The winning store will have exceptional exterior and interior design and will have made innovative use of materials. Judges will consider the use of space, the overall visual impact and also the impact of the premises in relation to the surrounding environment. Fit for purpose, customer flow and ease of use will also be important.

    *Qualifying retail premises could be defined as, but not limited to, any form of premises operating in the provision of goods or services to the wider public.

    Judges will assess the answers provided to the three questions below and shortlist the finalists. A mystery guest will visit the shortlisted finalists and assess the premises to include: the impact of the exterior and interior design, d├ęcor, merchandising and display, quality of fixtures and fittings, ambience and the customer experience.
