Corporate Golf Day 2016
Skerries Golf Club
Friday 23rd September 2016
The 17th Fingal Dublin Chamber Corporate Golf Day will take place in Skerries Golf Club on Friday 23rd September 2016 where the teams taking part will compete for the magnificent Chamber Perpetual Golf Trophy, sponsored by the daa.
A great day of golf is promised in the wonderful parkland setting of Skerries Golf Club which is renowned for its undulating fairways, strategically postioned bunkers and an abundance of varied and mature trees. Boasting one of the most spectacular finishing holes in Ireland, it also provides magnificient panoramic views of the Irish Sea and coastline extending from the Mountains of Mourne to Howth.
“This is always a very special day out for Chamber Members and their guests with all participants enjoying a great day of golf with colleagues and friends” said Chamber President Guy Thompson.
Last year twenty-six teams enjoyed an excellent day of golf in great company. The fun and competitive spirit made it a day to remember. There was a thrilling finish where golfers anxiously awaited the awarding of the prizes. This year’s Golf Day promises to be equally exciting with great prizes and a great competition to win the Chamber Perpetual Golf Trophy.
We have already started to receive bookings for the day and we would be delighted if you could participate this year. This will be an 18-hole team event, best ball with two scores to count on each hole using ¼ combined team handicap. Tee times will be from 8am to 15.04pm and allocated on a first come first served basis.
You will have an opportunity to enjoy some refreshments at a preferential rate (breakfast bap, coffee and tea!) before you go out and we will provide you with a few goodies to help you around the course.
After the golf, we will enjoy a meal with some great prizes for the top 3 teams as well as the longest drives and nearest the pin. We even have a prize for the worst team score.
We will also have an optional charity putting competition which you can enjoy before and after your round of golf and we hope you will take the opportunity to enjoy it again this year.
