As part of the Fingal Dublin Chambers Corporate Social Responsibility Policy for the coming year it has been agreed to support a charity at International, Nation and Local level.
Operation New Life has been selected as the International Charity for 2008. Operation New Life has been set up to provide for Fistula Women in the West African country of Niger. The Charity has undertaken a major project to build a Clinic to provide operations and health care for these women, many of whom are just young girls.
The permissions, plans and professionals required for such an undertaking have already been secured. Now Operation New Life needs to raise 1 million euro to pay for building this much needed clinic.
Operation New Life is running their Annual Ball on Friday, 4th April in the Four Seasons Hotel, Ballsbridge, hosted by Marty Whelan.
