Gourmet Food Parlour (GFP), the successful restaurant & catering group, are marking the occasion of their 10th Birthday in Swords, Co. Dublin with week-long celebrations for all their loyal customers. Since opening in 2008, the restaurant has enjoyed great success and in 2012 the branch underwent massive renovations, which doubled it in size, to bring it from a 35-seater restaurant to a 72-seater restaurant including private dining space. The transformation allowed GFP to keep up with the growing demand for their food and give customers a more spacious and relaxed environment to enjoy their meals.
Gourmet Food Parlour first opened their doors in Dun Laoghaire in 2006 and have gone on to open an additional seven locations across Dublin employing over 240 staff.
Following an investment of € ½ million into the expansion of their space in Swords in 2016, the team have been going from strength-strength and this birthday is one of the company’s biggest highlights so far, said Lorraine Heskin, Managing Director, Gourmet Food Parlour;
“When Lorraine Byrne and I set up our first cafe in Dun Laoghaire in 2006, we had quite a modest offering. Now 12 years later, we have grown considerably with seven locations around Dublin and an ever-expanding Catering and Events division. We are so proud of what we have achieved in our beautiful restaurant in Swords. We want to thank all our loyal customers for their support over the past 10 years. We are delighted to celebrate our tenth birthday here in Swords this week and provide the people of Swords with a beautiful space in which to dine and socialise with friends and family.”

Continually striving to serve delicious food to customers in a fun and funky way, GFP’s Bottomless Prosecco deal has offered our night-time customers an added incentive to try out the new and exciting Evening menu any night of the week!
