For more than a decade, Fingal Dublin Chamber of Commerce has been serving the needs of the business community in the Fingal Region of Dublin. Through dedication and hard work the Chamber has established a reputation as one of the most dynamic and innovative Chambers in the country.

Working closely with Chamber Members, the Chamber is constantly reviewing and updating our policies to promote, lobby and influence the decision-makers on all matters of concern to business.

Fingal Dublin Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1994 with just 35 members. It has now grown to represent nearly 300 businesses throughout the area. Through its co-operative and partnership approach to representing the business community, the Chamber is widely recognised as the voice of business in the Fingal Region.

The Government’s Transport 21 Programme, announced late last year, will provide Swords with a first class public transport system with the Metro linking Swords with the City centre via Dublin Airport. The advent of the Swords Metro Line will bring increased opportunities for economic activity in the area and the Chamber is lobbying hard to have work started as soon as possible on the metro.

Dublin Airport is the largest single economic unit not only in Fingal but in the country as a whole and currently facilitates over 18 million passengers and over 150,000 tonnes of cargo annually. It provides over 12,000 jobs directly at present and Fingal Dublin Chamber fully supports the proposed development of Dublin Airport to ensure that it can cater with the projected growth in passenger numbers over the coming years.
