Environment Award

This award is open to all businesses that have implemented an environmental initiative during the last two years. The judges of this award will look for the business/organisation that is perceived to have contributed most to the environmental well being of the area and that can best demonstrate a company-wide commitment to minimising its impact on the environment.
This category is open to public and private sector organisations.
Entrants for this award are required to provide a written submission outlining the answers to a number of questions and include any additional information you feel will assist the judges in assessing your application.

Vhi SwiftCare Clinic - Swords
During 2007, Vhi Healthcare (in partnership with Centric Health), opened its state-of-the art urgent care facility -Vhi SwiftCare Clinic Swords - at Airside Retail Park. Open from 8am-10pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year, this new Clinic provides your employees and the wider communities of North County Dublin, Meath and Louth with an alternative to visiting the local A&E Department when they have a minor injury or illness.
Most patients attending the Clinic are seen within one hour and the type of conditions treated include: sprains, bumps and bruises, potential breaks, minor burns or cuts that may need a stitch.
