In carrying out its role in representing and lobbying
for the business community, Fingal Dublin Chamber has
day to day dealings with many areas of the Public Service
at both local and national level.
Although a vital part of everyday life for businesses,
the Public Service is traditionally undervalued and
often criticised in to-days demanding world.
However, despite the ever increasing demands on resources
and ongoing funding pressures, Public Services in the
region have made massive strides over recent years.
Much greater attention is now paid to customer care,
quality, transparency and value for money. The result
is a more approachable Public Service who are in touch
with the communities they are there to serve.
Fingal Dublin Chamber wishes to acknowledge the strong
links between Public Service Bodies and the business
community which are mutually beneficial to both sides.
In the Fingal Region, there is excellent co-operation
between local Public Service Bodies and businesses and
this must be encouraged.
Fingal Dublin Chamber is delighted to sponsor the Public
Service Award.
